FAQ · 06

T-Shirt Manufacturing FAQs

What's the difference between combed cotton and standard cotton?
Combed cotton is processed to remove short fibers before spinning, giving a smoother, softer finish than standard carded cotton — it's what we use for our standard-weight tees.
Do you pre-shrink fabric before cutting?
Yes — every roll is tested for shrinkage and pre-treated before cutting, so finished garments hold their stated size.
Can I get a custom size chart for my brand?
Yes — you can supply your own grading rules, or we'll build one around your target fit.
What seam construction do you use for higher-end tees?
Side-seamed construction with shoulder taping and double-needle hems as standard, rather than tubular knit, for a more structured, retail-grade finish.
How do you test for colorfastness?
Fabric and applied decoration are checked for wash and rub fastness on the approved sample before bulk production.
Can I mix fabric weights across sizes in one order?
Yes — for example, a slightly heavier fabric on larger sizes to maintain drape, though this should be specified in your tech pack upfront.
Do you provide fabric test reports?
Yes, GSM and shrinkage test data is available on request for any order.
What's the reorder turnaround if my spec hasn't changed?
7–10 days when the original spec and fabric batch are on file — no re-sampling needed.
